Overview of Blog

As I alluded to in my mission, I have identified in my journey certain impediments to everyone fulfilling all of their dreams and desires. The underlying theme of my writing is to inform and enlighten, however, many topics relate to very serious issues.

The topics that I will explore in my book and may be the subject of blog posts consist of areas such as media, government, love, economics, psychology, drugs, music, passion, education, future, information, corporations and more.

As a sneak peek, I’ll brush on the surface of one of these many inter-connected topics – economics.

For some time (particularly the last 30 years) there has been a growing divide between the rich and the poor. Some people believe that the middle class is disappearing. How is this possible? Governments around the world are heavily in debt. How does that impact the people? Some people believe that governments are corrupt liars. What is the basis for this allegation?

I’ll get into the details of my perspective on these ideas, while also delving into history to see how we’ve gotten to where we are and perhaps gain some insight as to where we are headed. As the old motto goes, you can’t know where you are going, without knowing where you’ve been.

My first topical blog post which I hope to publish in a week or so is – How Marijuana Saved My Life. Until then, take care.

My Mission

the path

I believe that life is this amazing, mysterious, gift that is afforded to us. Every single person can and should be happy, truly happy. Every person should be able to do what they want in their life. Every person should have access to food and shelter. Every person should be able to fulfill their dreams because all that we know for certain is that this is our only life, so why not make it worthwhile. If there is an after-life that is great, but we can’t know for certain, so let’s make this one count.

In this fast paced world, I think one thing that people easily overlook is themselves. That may sound strange as everyone is naturally self-interested, but how often do you or people you know actual explore the inner-self. Your inner thoughts, dreams and emotions. Really one of the first things that people should do is get to know themselves. Questions such as, am I fulfilled? am I sad? do I feel love? am I doing what I want to be doing? what am I interested in? How can you really go through a fulfilled and happy life without really knowing what you yourself are bringing to the world and what you yourself want.

Now some peoples inner dialogue may be asking, what is this blog about? This blog is about opening every persons eyes to the world we are in today, the world of the past and likely where we are going. When I first started to delve into my inner thoughts and emotions, I realised that there are things that I am interested in such as piano and writing that I wasn’t doing at the time. I realised what is really important to me in this world is my friends and family. Everything else, all the little things are truly just noise. But then I started to identify certain arrangements in my environment that were restraining me from realising my full potential, my true bliss. So, I travelled down this path of impingement, learning about the different injustices in my environment, to the point that it could be called an obsession.

My goal with this blog is to share some of my thoughts on the misalignment of certain things in the world, in hopes of one day soon writing an all encompassing book, a book about life. The reason that I want to share my thoughts, is that the one thing that is worse than the obstacles in my own environment, is the difficulty for others to escape their present mindset and see the environment around them for what it really is. My hope is that my book will one day help inform, enlighten and enrich the lives of all who read it, so that we can all live happily and co-operatively together on this planet.
